The head instructor at The New Breed Training Center is Mr. Dan Pribble. For the past 15 years Mr. Pribble has been studying under Mr. Jeff Speakman, and is currently a 4th degree Black belt in the Kenpo 5.0 System American Kenpo 5.0 is the hybrid of the last generation version of American Kenpo taught directly from Senior Grand Master Ed Parker to Jeff Speakman and ground fighting brought into the equation by several of Mr. Speakman’s student’s training and experiences in Modern MMA. It is important to recognize that this is not cage fighting but an expanding philosophy of Kenpo to produce the Kenpo ground system coupled with training drills and sparring techniques. It is modifying the existing 4.0 system while remaining completely within the combat models and thinking of American Kenpo to address the increasing and prevalent void of ground fighting in the Kenpo world, due to the evolution of MMA and the grappling arts. For those interested in MMA, we offer Beginning and Competition level MMA classes, and are a “Team Wildman” Fight team affiliate, one of the Premier Fight teams in all of Mixed Martial Arts. Top MMA fighter, Thomas “Wildman” Denny, Founded the team in 1999, and runs Team Wildman out of Golden, Co. Mr. Pribble has been a Proud “Team Wildman” fighter since 2006. In addition we offer no-gi jiu jitsu training to compliment our MMA program through an affiliation with 10th planet Jiu Jitsu in Riverside, Ca. 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu is the only form of no gi grappling that is designed specifically for MMA, by Founder Eddie Bravo, and is the only no gi system in the world that has its rank recognized by the IBJFF. We also offer Contact Kickboxing classes, for those interested in High intensity cardio training through bag work , and plyometric fight conditioning.. This class is offered for those interested in “Getting fit, without getting Hit! Finally, the youth classes at our Training Center are SECOND TO NONE! The youth program incorporates all of the above training, but more importantly, teaches discipline, self respect and confidence. This is accomplished through traditional martial arts structure, with the addition of modern martial arts training. Creating true martial artists, not just young fighters.
